Mark Schlichter – President

Mark possesses a combined 25 years experience in the construction industry. From underground, to heavy and highway, to electrical construction, Mark started with a shovel in hand, moving through management to ownership the hard way. Mark earned his Bachelor of Science in English from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, and continued on to earn his Masters of Business from Cardinal Stritch College. He was chosen as Small Businessman of the year in 1995 for the State of Wisconsin. Mark also holds a Florida State Certified General Contractors license (CGC1512585). He uses his vast knowledge and hands on approach to management developing innovative solutions to today’s challenges in the construction industry.

Jane Schlichter – Vice President / Controller

Jane jump started her career after earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics from Rockford College in 1981. She has over 15 years of experience as a Project Manager developing and implementing Order management, Accounts Receivable and Warehouse Systems for the electronic controls industry. At CFE Jane is responsible for fiscal management, drawing on her immeasurable organizational skills to make sure that CFE runs smoothly.

Robert Barrington – General Manager

Bob began his career working as an Electrical apprentice, quickly moving to Electrical Foreman on Commercial and Industrial projects from Florida all the way to Washington State, earning his NECA/IBEW Journeyman Electrician card. He went on to earn a Bachelors of Science degree in Business Administration from Nova Southeastern University. Bob continued to excel in all areas of the electrical field, working as an estimator, project manager, chief estimator and then senior project manager. He holds a Master Electricians license EC13003174 in the state of Florida. Bob is now the General Manager in charge of planning, organizing, directing and controlling both management and field staff. As a Florida Native with a diverse work history, Bob has a firm grasp of Florida’s history and direction for the future of Florida’s electrical construction industry.

Gary Rimes – Senior Project Manager / Estimator

Gary has over thirty years of experience in the Electrical Contracting field. He earned his AA in Architectural Design from Massey College, and then spent over sixteen years as a journeyman and supervisor for various electrical contractors gaining valuable hands on experience and management oversight. He continued in Electrical contracting owning a company which specialized in retail, small commercial, health care and light industrial facilities. Gary holds Master Electricians license EC13001630 in the state of Florida. Gary now draws on his immense knowledge of the electrical industry to ensure that all of his projects, whether they are bids or ongoing construction, are performed to exact quality and efficiency standards.

Rodney Hildebrand — Estimator

With 17 years of construction experience in such varied areas as electrical, plumbing, concrete, framing and finishing, Rodney brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to CFE. His unique understanding of the project as a whole will benefit both CFE and our customers in his estimating and project management duties. Rodney began his career as an Aircraft Maintenance Specialist with the United States Air Force. Since then he has worked in the construction industry progressing to foreman on large commercial electrical projects earning his Journeyman Electrical License, and his FASA/BASA certification. Rodney is energetic, innovative, and disciplined, coupling this with a strong work ethic makes him a solid part of CFE’s estimating and project management team.

Jay Grise – Service Manager / Project Manager

Jay has been involved in the electrical field since graduating from high school, attending Licking County Joint Vocational School for Residential, Commercial and Industrial Electric earning his degree in 1992. He continued his education, attending the Associated Electrical Contractors of Central Ohio four year apprenticeship program graduating in 1997. Since then Jay has earned his Journeyman’s card from the Association of Electrical Contractors in Ohio as well as his Journeyman’s card in the city of Ocala #6831. He has been an employee of CFE since 1999, as a standout foreman leading crews on all types of electrical installation from healthcare to industrial. As the head of CFE’s service department, Jay draws on his diverse background to serve all customers’ needs large or small.

Gary Rogers – Warehouse Manager / Purchasing Director

Gary has 39 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor, enabling the warehouse at CFE to run like a well oiled machine. Gary also heads CFE’s purchasing department, ensuring that CFE always procures the best material at the best possible price. Gary started his career path with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Brandt and Straton. He continued his education, earning an electronic technology degree and computer science degree from Central Florida Community College. Gary holds multiple safety certificates, including an OSHA certified fork lift license, and CDL drivers license. Gary’s outstanding performance and attention to detail insures that CFE’s foremen are prepared day in and day out on the job.

Tyler Schlichter, EIT – Management Trainee

The depth of Central Florida Electric starts with the youth, and the future will add to the core training of Tyler. Tyler started his training from the ground up working in high school as an electrician’s helper. He progressed in the field earning his journeyman’s license and running small commercial projects. Adding to his growing knowledge of the electrical field is his Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from University of Florida. He has completed 30 hours of training in Occupational Safety and Health Standards for General Industry. Tyler will continue to work in the field gaining experience from CFE’s excellent foreman, eventually bringing immense knowledge and new ideas into the office.

Rikki Hambidge – Office Manager

Rikki started her career in 1999, in the field as a residential and service electrician. She earned her journeyman’s license and graduated from the FAEC journeyman’s apprenticeship program in 2004. Expanding on her hands on knowledge of electrical construction she also has experience as a residential estimator. She is now utilizing her multidimensional talents in the electrical field to ensure that all of CFE’s internal operations run smoothly.
